We do temperature checks and sanitizing as soon as our students arrive.
Any adults bringing students are required to wear masks at all times.
Also face shields are used during play time.
Our students during summer camp are wearing their masks successfully although is optional at their age. Students and staff wash their hands often with water and soap. Everything is cleaned and sanitized before and after class.
We also have a cleaning service performing deep cleaning in the afternoon Monday through Friday.
July 13, 2020 Update:
We have been busy getting ready for our reopening! In addition to the purchase of thermometers, individual chair desks to protect our students moving forward. As soon as we get a reopening date from the goverment, we plan on opening with a small group of 6 students. We will be reaching out to all the familes regarding credits moving forward.
May 21, 2020 Update:
We have received all of our medical supplies including hand sanitizer, face shields, masks, as well as gloves. This is to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff moving forward.
April 1, 2020 Update:
The staff at Colorín Spanish Program has been working hard to create the best and safest possible environment. In addition to the sanitization of the entire facility, our tables and chairs have been removed and we have purchased student chair desks to ensure a minimum distance and individual space to work and eat. Upon reopening, we will consistently clean door handles, tables, and bathroom to ensure the safest possible environment for our students.
During this time of unprecedented uncertainly, the staff here at Colorín Spanish Program is thinking about the health and well-being of our many friends in the Colorín community.
Our hearts are with those who have been affected by the outbreak of the Coronavirus as well as with the many people around the world that are facing extreme hardships while participating in their efforts to slow its spread.
